“State Map mural” was created in Photoshop from scratch. The assignment called for designing a map along with graphic art that portrayed features of the state that could in turn be reproduced at a large scale and used as a Mural for a casino restaurant. The client wanted an aged, distressed and vintage feel to the graphics that alluded to the 1800’s. Nostalgic  fonts, treatments and design elements were used in combination with a bold and updated design to strike a happy balance between old and new. The client liked the design and decided to go even more “worn” in the final version.
