The “1830’s Resource Map” was created in Photoshop for a double page graphic novel in the Educational Publishing Industry. The map uses design elements that reflect the period but in a bold, colorful and updated style. It was one panel of the graphic Novel. The title  and copy bars are positioned above the panel on top. The right side was left plain and unadorned so copy could be overprinted in that area.
