“Valley Forge”is a Double Page spread graphic Novel for the Educational Publishing Industry. The historical theme focused again on the American Revolution. While the art is brightly saturated, somewhat simplified and stylized for the “sequential art” format and to appeal to a younger audience, every effort was made to maintain historical accuracy. The uniforms and accouterments were carefully researched to reflect the actual units who fought this particular engagement.
The subject centered on the hardships faced at Valley Forge during the winter of 1777-1778 by the continental army and the impact on local farmers ordered to provide provisions for the troops .
